About Art Child

Let's Live Together in Peace

Art Child is an association whose international mission is to unite  children around the world by organising contests and collaborative events related to Art and Culture.

Art Child is an active partner of the program "2001-2010 international decade for a culture of peace and non violence for the children of the world" proclaimed by the United Nations and coordinated by UNESCO

After the success of its first international fresco contest organized from 1999 to 2003 with around 150 participating countries and thousands of children, Art child has decided to continue its mission through another contest. This time, Art child will launch a Choral Music Contest in the beginning of 2006, a worldwide competition of original songs composed and performed by children using peace as a common theme.

For this particular event Art Child will work closely with the International Federation for Choral Music and its regular partners such as UNESCO, and the International Music Council of which Art Child is an associate member. The International Choral Music Contest was officially announced in October 2005 during the World Forum on Music held in Los Angeles, USA.

Art Child aims at uniting the Children of the world around peace, and promotes such complementary values as peace, cultural diversity and international solidarity through International Contests and many other artistic events involving children.

Our goals are in the long term. We aim to improve the sociability and the collaborative qualities of children. An artistic child is a creative child, that can build his own future in full respect of others and of the planete. If you too would like to help, please contact us now...
